Mound City Messenger’s New Event Submission Page

Mound City Messenger has a new and improved event submission page. This new page empowers local music venues, art galleries, theaters, and other cultural organizations to submit their events for inclusion in the site’s events calendar. The new page is designed to be user-friendly, ensuring that artists, venues, and organizations can easily provide the community with essential details about their upcoming events.

The introduction of the new event submission page is part of Mound City Messenger’s mission to support and promote the local cultural landscape. By offering an expanded platform for event listings, we hope to fill in some of the gap left by the RFT and KDHX no longer promoting upcoming concerts, plays, and other cultural events. Events calendar traffic has already been increasing, and our hope is that improving the user submission process will allow us to provide a more robust listing of the region’s cultural offerings.

Events are not automatically added to the online calendar, but our volunteers do their best to review submissions in a timely manner. Please submit your event at least 10 days in advance.
