Photos: El Gran Success

As we reported last week, the fine folks at El Gran E Records held their annual label showcase right here in our fair city between July 18^th and 20^th. El Gran E Grand Poobah Alex Hanner and STL showcase shaper Stephen Favazza invited us along to experience their twelve-artist event and to capture some of the magic with our camera. Like a demented rock n’ roll Pokemon trainer, we just had to catch ’em all and took so many photos that we’ll probably still be editing come next year. The organizers stated everything went smoothly at both venues, the artists were happy with their performances, and most importantly, the audience had a great time! Here are some shots from the showcase in case you couldn’t make it, or did but maybe had too great a time. We promise not to tell either way, we’re cool like that.
