From Dogtown to Downtown, St. Louisans Make Their Voices Heard

The past week saw St. Louisans attend rallies and protests across the city. Across the city, residents once again lifted their voices to draw the public’s attention to important local, national, and international topics.

St. Louisans gathered at City Hall to demand that more of the Rams settlement money be budgeted for repairing and rebuilding in on the tornado-ravaged northside. Protestors also drew attention to deaths in the city jail and Mayor Cara Spencer’s close relationship with billionaire Bob Clark of Clayco.

Protestors gathered at the entrance of Tower Grove Park to commemorate the Nakba and draw continued attention to ongoing violence against Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

Residents gathered at the Tamm overpass to protest GOP plans to use redistricting to eliminate congressional districts represented by Black lawmakers.
