Photos: Out and About Over the 4th of July Weekend
Despite the heat, the 4th of July holiday weekend brought people out across the region. From south St. Louis County to East St. Louis, voters also used the patriotic holiday to make their voices heard on important issues. As always, Downtown’s fireworks show was spectacular.

Earlier in the day, demonstrators took to the streets of St. Louis County to make their voices heard and express their unhappiness with the current direction of the nation.

On Saturday afternoon, people marched through East St. Louis, IL, where they reaffirmed the importance of protecting Black lives and the continuing struggle for liberation and equality.
