Photos: Protesters In St. Louis Co. Raised Objections To Elon Musk And President Trump Last Saturday
St. Louisans joined people across the world in International Women’s Day demonstrations. Our local event was held Saturday morning in Brentwood, near the Brentwood Promenade shopping center. Many protestors held signs supporting DEI initiatives, trans folks, the war effort in Ukraine, and other things that have come under attack from the Trump administration.
Just a few miles away, protesters gathered at the south county Tesla dealership on S. Lindbergh to protest CEO Elon Musk and his work under Trump’s “DOGE” effort, which is causing mass layoffs and disruptions to the workings of the federal government. In recent month’s Musk’s growing unpopularity has led to a significant drop in the company’s sales and stock price.
